MARINE OFFSHORE AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT EXPERT OPSEALOG SUCCESSFULLY DEPLOYS MARINELOG, ITS FLAGSHIP SERVICE, IN TEN AFFILIATES OF TOTAL

Ten affiliates of Total Exploration & Production in Western Africa, North Sea, South America, Asia and the Middle East have deployed MarineLog to optimize their offshore logistics operations by reducing their costs and increasing their productivity. The service cost is more than covered by the savings generated. Two other Oil Majors are also working with the company.

Arnaud Dianoux, CEO and co-founder of Opsealog, declared:

We have created a dynamic team of Marine Business Analysts able to understand the reality of Offshore Supply Operations thanks to their seafaring skills and experience. Our expertise also builds on human talent in Marine Vessel Mechanics, Energy Efficiency, HSE and Performance Management. This ability to dialog with our customers and their chartered fleets gives us the opportunity to generate immediate savings. Furthermore, our diversity is a strength that gives us the capacity to be as close as possible to our customers and better understand their needs. This win-win partnership allows us to transform data into actions.

A COMPREHENSIVE MARITIME ANALYTICS OFFER

MarineLog Solutions & Services has been built with a client-oriented approach in order to answer recurrent and identified needs in this industry:  optimize marine logistics flows, reduce fuel consumption, monitor and minimize the environmental impact generated by operations, cross-check logistics costs and improve internal processes.

This “Efficiency as a Service” offer is based on a highly connected platform that collects and integrates data from different sources: vessel tracking, weather parameters, electronic fuel monitoring systems, and other operational data collected through on-board software and through web applications used directly by the customers. An integral part of this service offering is an expert team of Marine consultants.

AN APPROACH TAILORED TO MARINE OFFSHORE ACTIVITIES

The associated savings are generated by analyzing the operational behavior of the customer’s fleet and providing recommendations in partnership with the Marine Logistics Department. The follow-up of these operational instructions is closely monitored and shared with the Offshore Logistics Coordinator, Port and Vessel’s Masters. Recurring efficiency meetings are organized remotely with all these stakeholders through a modern digital workplace.

AN EASY-TO-IMPLEMENT SOLUTION

The service is easily deployed and quickly implemented. All the technical requirements are operated remotely without any investments. Nominative and secured access is then given to the users to log on to their web portal embedded with predefined dashboards, real-time notifications, vessel tracking, and operational reports.

Opsealog’s Cloud platform is a turnkey Business Intelligence (BI)/performance management tool. Not only does it allow to benefit predefined dashboards directly, but it also helps customize specific dashboards, depending on the customer’s needs. It allows users to recover the data and process it internally directly into their IT and BI services/Logistic Department if needed.

NEXT STEPS IN OPSEALOG’S DEVELOPMENT

Opsealog positions itself as a Digital Transformation Booster. In the near future, the company is planning to continue innovating while providing optimal services. The company aims to become a key player in upstream performance management by investing in R&D to improve its Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms, building new partnerships with operational data and Internet of Things (IoT) providers for vessel sensors.
