Opsealog partners with Green Marine to improve shipping’s environmental compliance and performance

A data-driven partnership

Marseille, 28 April 2022 – Opsealog, a provider of digital performance management solutions for shipping, has become a Green Marine partner, the leading voluntary environmental compliance and certification program for the maritime industry.

Through this partnership, Opsealog will help companies in Green Marine Europe improve their environmental performance. It will help companies use data integration and performance management solutions. Based in France, Opsealog has developed data-powered solutions that combine both performance management and human expertise. Thereby increasing efficiency and reducing fuel consumption and emissions of maritime operations.

Green Marine Europe and environmental performance

Green Marine Europe is the sister program of Green Marine, North America’s largest voluntary environmental certification program in the maritime. This partnership will allow Opsealog to connect with the Green Marine network, which includes over 60 shipowners. It, will enable Opsealog to showcase its services, helping actors improve their environmental performance. Working on greenhouse gas emissions, underwater noises, oily discharge, and waste management.

Green Marine participant companies are based in Europe, Canada, and the United States span the entire port and shipping sectors. It includes tankers, cargo, ro-ro, and passenger vessels, as well as ports, terminals, and shipyards. As part of the Green Marine program, these companies voluntarily benchmark their annual environmental performance against several performance indicators.
